About me

If you are uncomfortable discussing your situation, I’m the last person who will judge you!

I wasn’t always confident about money. We lost our home, had our cars repossessed, and incurred a lot of credit card debt. This caused tension in our relationship.

We learned about money the hard way.  I wanted to stay home with my first child, but we could not live off of one salary due to poor financial management. It was truly heartbreaking for me.

We lost our first home; we had over $70,000 in debt and nothing to show for it. It was frustrating not being able to enjoy life the way we wanted to, only ever working, and never going on vacations because we lived paycheck to paycheck.

We knew SOMETHING had to change, and we figured out how to create the financial future that we wanted.

We began budgeting, tracking expenses, saving for emergencies, and paying down debt.

Now we have healthy conversations about money and enjoy the things that we love to do. We review and reflect on our spending and financial goals together. If anything seems off or we overspent somewhere, we find solutions as a team. I genuinely believe this has contributed to our 30 years of marriage.

The techniques I developed were so successful that friends and family began asking me for help with their own challenges. These inquiries motivated me to turn my newfound passion into a full-time career.

No more missing family dinners or date nights; it is time to take control of your life. If you need someone to motivate, challenge, and encourage you to achieve your goals, take action today!

Make Your Family A Priority

The reason I fought so hard to get out of debt was because of my love for my family. I knew that I wanted to be a good role model for them and have excellent communication with my husband. We involve the children in many of our discussions about money because it is vital to educate them from a young age about how damaging debt can be to their future.

I highly encourage families to discuss important issues as a whole and to create a family budget. It will undoubtedly strengthen your relationship and create an unbreakable bond.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Make your money work for you rather than against you .
